The entrance to the Park will be moved from it’s present location along with many other new features that will be added as the renovation of this Park moves forward in 2009 and 2010.

Hillsborough County was created on January 25, 1834. It was named for Wills Hill, Viscount Hillsborough of England. A Home Rule Charter for Hillsborough County was approved by voters in a countywide referendum held in September 1983, and the first County Commissioners elected under this new charter took office on May 28, 1985
